  7. If you want a hostname for your dynamic ip address, then
  8. get your free account from www.justlinux.com and use this
  9. client to set your hostname to your current ip address.

  11. You need MUI 3.x and Miami 2.x or higher to use this prg.
  12.  
  13. This software is freeware. That means you don't have to pay
  14. money to use full functionality of this software.

  20. Installation & Usage:
  21. ---------------------

  23. Installation is very simple. Just copy the program and its
  24. icon. Then start JL from wb or cli. Since this is your first
  25. time, it asks some information about your account. Enter
  26. this required information and click 'Save' button. Example:

  28. Username: Palpa
  29. Password: examplepassword
  30. Hostname: palpa.penguinpowered.com
  31.  
  32. It saves its configuration to config.jl file in its directory.
  33. Now you can update your ip number by clicking 'Update' button.
  34. You can use 'Down' button before going offline.
  35.  
  36. It also has some arexx commands:

  38. JLUP   : Updates ip number on server.
  39. JLDOWN : Deletes ip number on server.
  40.  
  41. this commands return 0 for succesfull operation and
  42. 1 for failure. (note: arexx port is JLDYNDNS.1)
